Northwest Alabama Gas District serves over 15,000 customers across the state. Our vast network of underground distribution lines spans from northern Tuscaloosa County all the way to southern Colbert County. This extensive system covers multiple counties including Pickens, Fayette, Lamar, Marion, Winston, Franklin and Lawrence Counties — delivering natural gas to countless homes and businesses.
Our distribution lines themselves are constructed from durable yellow plastic and steel, varying in size from ⅝” to 10” and installed at depths ranging from 24” to 36”.
